Apparently, David Kahn isn't limiting his coaching search to the accomplished likes of Mike Krzyzewski.
The Minnesota Timberwolves' president of basketball reportedly has interviewed Quin Snyder, a former point guard and assistant coach under Krzyzewski at Duke who spent the past season as an assistant coach with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Snyder, 44, is best known for a turbulent stint at the University of Missouri, where he took the Tigers to the NCAA Tournament in his first four seasons (1999-2000 to 2002-03) but ended up re-signing under pressure after a 10-11 start in 2005-06.
Since, Snyder spent three seasons as head coach of the NBA Development League's Austin Toros and one season with the Sixers.
Despite reports to the contrary, Kahn insists he remains in discussions with coach Kurt Rambis about returning for a third season as coach. Rambis has two years remaining on his four-year contract.
