The Twins are getting very close to the Opening Day 25-man roster.
Scott Diamond reportedly has cleared waivers, according to Phil Miller of the Star Tribune. Diamond will have two days to decide if he'll accept an assignment to Triple-A Rochester or become a free agent.

Also, center fielder Alex Presley was claimed off waivers, according to Jon Morosi from Fox Sports 1.

Mike Berardino of the Pinoeer Press reports that Chris Parmelee also is on waivers.
Jason Bartlett has made the roster as a super utility fielder, the Twins confirmed. So here's the bench, assuming Jason Kubel is the full-time DH (a role he's not cut out for).
Catcher: Josmil Pinto
Infield: Eduardo Escobar, Chris Colabello
In his nine Major League seasons, Bartlett never has played center field, according to Baseball Reference.
If all of these players are going to waivers, and the Twins currently are without a backup outfielder capable of playing center, it would stand to reason they're close to making a trade. This is speculation but I expect they'll move to get an outfielder.
The other option is to have Darin Mastroianni as a fourth outfielder.
The rest of the roster is nearly set. Expect third catcher Dan Rohfling to be cut before Sunday's roster deadline.
