Byron Buxton will have an MRI this week on his left wrist, according to media reports, to compare to an MRI taken in the spring.

Buxton opened the season on the disabled list after hurting the left wrist diving for a ball in spring training. He returned to the Fort Myers Miracle on May 4, but has missed two games.

Buxton may have re-injured or aggravated the wrist when his hand hit the ground while sliding feet first, according to Twins Radio Network.
