Timberwolves fans are about to find out when they will get their chance to boo Kevin Love next season.

Love remains the Wolves' property in the eyes of the NBA, but that will end on Aug. 23 when the league will finally allow Minnesota to announce that it has shipped the star forward to the Cleveland Cavaliers for a package that includes No. 1-overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins.

That means Love will return to Target Center once next season. The date of that game will be revealed at 5 p.m. Wednesday in an NBA TV special. The Wolves also will play one game in Cleveland.

There is little doubt Target Center will be the place to be that night considering that not only will Love be coming back to Minnesota, but he will be joined by a star-studded Cavs team that includes LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.

James, of course, is the reason that Love was willing to play in Cleveland. James decided to re-sign with his hometown Cavaliers last month after leaving Cleveland to play in Miami.

While James is sure to have plenty of fans in Minnesota, Love likely will hear exactly how Wolves fans feel about his decision to force his way out of town.

The disgruntled Love had made it clear if he wasn't traded by the Wolves before or during the 2014-15 season that he would opt-out of his contract next summer.
