Ted Ginn Jr. won't be the latest player to sign with the Minnesota Vikings in free agency's second wave.
The veteran return man/receiver re-signed with San Francisco on a one-year deal, the 49ers announced.
Ginn, 26, departed Winter Park after visiting with the Vikings on Tuesday and returned home to make a decision about where he will sign, NFL sources said on Thursday morning.
He apparently decided to stay put even though the 49ers have upgraded their receivers in recent weeks with the signings of Randy Moss and Mario Manningham.
Ginn also visited the Baltimore Ravens and Detroit Lions.
