The Gophers basketball program will have important eyes watching at Williams Arena on Saturday night in their latest attempt to stop the bleeding that is a three-game losing streak.
According to 1500ESPN.com contributor Darren Wolfson, legendary Louisville coach Rick Pitino will be in attendance to watch his son, Richard, coach the Gophers against Indiana. Two 2014 recruiting targets, Seattle's Djuan Piper and Birmingham's Abdoulaye 'AD' Gueye, will also watch from the stands.
The six-foot-six-inch Piper has offers from Minnesota, the University of Southern California and Washington, among others, per ESPN, and is rated the second-best small forward out of the state of Washington. While the 6'9" big man Gueye has received one offer from Auburn, per Scout.com, and has garnered interest from Memphis and Minnesota.

After a 4-3 Big Ten record out of the gate that included a pair of wins over ranked Wisconsin and Ohio State, the Gophers have dropped the past three games by a combined eight points -- the most recent a tirple-overtime defeat at Purdue on Wednesday.
However, all is not lost. Wins over ranked opponents go a long way in March and 10 of 12 Big Ten teams have at least four losses. The Gophers (15-8, 4-6 Big Ten) have plenty of chances to rectify their season, but the schedule doesn't get any easier.
Following Saturday night's tilt against the Hoosiers, the Gophers go on the road in back-to-back contests at Wisconsin and Northwestern before trips to Ohio State and Michigan to close out the Big Ten road season.
