FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Minnesota Twins right-hander Scott Diamond is slated for his first Grapefruit League start on March 18.

Diamond is coming off December surgery to remove bone chips from this throwing elbow.

The team isn't sure whether he'll be ready in time for the season opener on April 1.
