Sources: Tim Brewster informed he will not be back in 2011

The Tim Brewster era is over.
Or, at least, it will be at the end of the season.
According to sources with knowledge of the situation, "U" officials informed Brewster after Saturday's 28-17 loss to Purdue that he will not be back next year.
The school drafted a media release and devised a media plan on Thursday that would be carried out if the Gophers (1-6) lost their sixth straight against the Boilermakers.
It remains to be seen if Brewster will finish out the 2010 season.
UPDATE, 10:09 a.m. Sunday: Brewster's termination is effective immediately. Offensive coordinator Jeff Horton will finish out the season.
