Kevin Love wasn't able to bring any luck to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who still have never struck gold in the NBA draft lottery.

As expected, the Wolves did not move up the ladder on Tuesday night. They will select ninth in next month's NBA draft.

The Cleveland Cavaliers cashed in for the second time in three years, earning the first overall pick with the third-highest odds (15.6%).

The Wolves entered the night with the ninth-worst record in the NBA, giving them a 1.7% chance of earning the No. 1 overall pick and a 2.4% chance of moving up into the top three. Love was on hand represtenting the franchise with a Ricky Rubio bobblehead in hand as a good luck charm.

The Orlando Magic entered with the best chance at 25%.

The 2013 NBA draft is scheduled to take place on June 27 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
