The Delmon Young trade is completed.

The Minnesota Twins annnounced on Tuesday right-handed reliever Lester Oliveros is the player to be named in Monday's trade that sent Young to the Detroit Tigers.

Oliveros, 23, is in his sixth season of professional baseball. The Venezuelan was 2-0 with a 0.53 earned-run average and 28 strikeouts in 17 innings at Double-A Erie earlier this season, earning a promotion to Triple-A Toledo, where he was 1-3 with a 6.43 ERA and 26 strikeouts in 28 innings.

The Tigers recalled him on July 1 and Oliveros appeared in nine games, posting a 5.63 ERA with four strikeouts and four walks in eight innings.

The Twins, who also acquired Single-A pitcher Cole Nelson in the trade, have assigned Oliveros to Triple-A Rochester.
