Hey, the Minnesota Timberwolves will take anything positive at this point.
Forward Wes Johnson was named to the 2010-2011 NBA All-Rookie second team on Wednesday, joining Felton Spencer, Kevin Garnett, Craig Smith, Kevin Love and Jonny Flynn as Wolves rookies to earn the same honor.
Pooh Richardson, Christian Laettner, Isiah Rider, Stephon Marbury, Wally Szczerbiak and Randy Foye each earned first team honors as Wolves.
Johnson played in 79 games for the Wolves, averaging 9.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 36% from three-point range.
Joining Johnson on the All-Rookie second team are Greg Monroe (Pistons), Eric Bledsoe (Clippers), Derrick Favors (Jazz) and Paul George (Pacers).
Blake Griffin (Clippers), John Wall (Wizards), Landry Fields (Knicks), DeMarcus Cousins (Kings) and Gary Neal (Spurs) earned first team honors.
