Trevor May's time finally is here. The Twins made it official Friday on Twitter, they'll recall the righthander to make Saturday's start for Minnesota.

Seth Stohs of Twins Daily was first to report the move.

May is 8-6 with a 2.93 ERA and 91 strikeouts and 37 walks in 95 1/3 innings. Opponents in Triple-A have hit .215 off him this season.

The Twins optioned Chris Colabello after Friday's game to clear a spot on the 25-man roster for May.

May already is on the 40-man roster. He came over from the Phillies along with Vance Worley in the trade that sent Ben Revere to Philadelphia.
