The Minnesota Twins have activated infielder Nick Punto from the disabled list, according to the Pioneer Press.
Punto has been sidelined since August 19 with a pulled hamstring, and prior to that he was on the disabled list from July 29 until August 16 with a strained hamstring as well.
Manager Ron Gardenhire hinted earlier in the week that the team might consider activating Punto before he's ready to play at 100% speed, simply because there are no repercussions now that rosters have expanded in September.
