Wintry weather finally washed out a game at Target Field.
Minnesota Twins president Dave St. Peter announced via Twitter that Sunday's finale against the New York Mets has been postponed.
It will be made up at 1:10 p.m. on Aug. 19, which had been scheduled as an off day between a home series against the Chicago White Sox and a road series at Detroit.
The postponement was really no surprise. Forecasts called for freezing rain throughout the day, with a high in the low 30s.
