FORT MYERS, Fla. -- After Sunday morning's announcement that infielder Luke Hughes and right-handers Jim Hoey and Anthony Slama have been optioned to Triple-A Rochester, the Minnesota Twins have finalized the 25-man roster.
As of Sunday afternoon, left-hander Scott Diamond's status was still up in the air. The Twins were in the process of talking to the Atlanta Braves about possibly swinging a trade to keep Diamond in the organization.
Manager Ron Gardenhire confirmed, however, that right-hander Jeff Manship did indeed nab the final bullpen spot.
In the end, there were very few -- if any -- surprises.
