The Los Angeles Angels claimed shortstop Tommy Field off waivers from the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday.
The Twins initially claimed Field off waivers from the Colorado Rockies on Nov. 2.
Field, 25, was a 24th round draft pick by Colorado in 2008. He owns a .264/.359/.414 batting line with 47 home runs and 47 stolen bases in 2,161 career minor league plate appearances.
The Twins' 40-man roster now stands at 39. It's possible they could fill that roster opening in next week's Rule-5 draft.
