MINNEAPOLIS -- The Twins on Monday made a trade that sent Miguel Sulbaran to the Yankees for Eduardo Nunez.

Sulbaran, a 20-year-old left-handed pitcher out of Venezuela, came to the Twins from the Dodgers in the Drew Butera trade.

Nunez has played every position on the field except centerfield and catcher. His most experience is at shortstop and third base.

Nunez will be assigned to Triple-A Rochester. He has been added to the 40-man roster.
