The Minnesota Twins optioned righthanded pitcher Alex Burnett to Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday morning.

The reliever appeared in seven games with the Twins this spring posting a 7.56 ERA (8.1 IP, 7 ER) with six walks and one strikeout.

The Twins now have 28 active players in camp: 15 pitchers (two non-roster), two catchers, six infielders and five outfielders (1 non-roster). The Twins also have two players on the disabled list: Scott Diamond (left elbow) and Anthony Swarzak (ribs).
