Let the roster shifting begin.

The Minnesota Twins announced Friday that they have outrighted catcher Rene Rivera, infielder Matt Tolbert, outfielder Jason Repko and right-hander Anthony Slama off the 40-man roster to Triple-A Rochester.

The team has also reinstated right-hander Nick Blackburn (forearm surgery) and infielder Alexi Casilla (hamstring) from the 60-day disabled list.

With these moves the Twins now have 38 players on the 40-man roster.
