Let the roster maneuvering begin.

Per the Star Tribune, the Minnesota Twins have exercised Jason Kubel's $5.25 million option for 2011. The team declined Nick Punto's $5 million option.

Despite hitting 21 home runs and driving in 92, Kubel, 28, suffered through the worst full offensive season of his career, hitting .249/.323/.427.

Punto, who turns 34 next week, spent almost the entire month of August, and half of September, on the disabled list with hamstring issues. He finished the season hitting .238/.313/.302 in 288 plate appearances.
