Three days after he earned his first major league win, Cole De Vries was sent packing back to Triple-A Rochester.
To take his place the Minnesota Twins have recalled first baseman Chris Parmelee, who hit .375/.500/.708 with four home runs in 60 plate appearances for the Red Wings since his demotion in May.
De Vries posted a respectable 4.20 ERA in 15 innings over five starts, but people in the organization believe his stuff wasn't sharp enough to have continued success.
