Twins set to recall 3B Danny Valencia

The Twins announced during Wednesday night's game that 3B Danny Valencia will be called up from Class-AAA Rochester to take the place of OF Michael Cuddyer, who will be placed on the bereavement list.

According to multiple reports, Cuddyer will leave the team to tend to the death of his father-in-law. He will miss at least four games.

Valencia is hitting .298/.350/.381 with no home runs and 15 doubles in 197 plate appearances at Rochester this season.
