The Twins are getting the band back together. After signing Jason Kubel and Jason Bartlett to minor league contracts, Minnesota turned its eye to the bullpen.

The Twins on Wednesday announced that Matt Guerrier has signed a minor league contract. The Twins extended an invite to major league spring training.

Guerrier, 35, was a nice reliever for the Twins for a stretch. He pitched in the Majors for the Twins from 2004-2010 before joining the Dodgers as a free agent.

In 2013, he pitched 42 2/3 innings out of the bullpen for two different teams. The Dodgers traded him midseason to the Cubs for former closer Carlos Marmol. Guerrier injured his flexor tendon in August.
