Twins to face Yankees in ALDS; game times announced

MINNEAPOLIS -- With the New York Yankees losing 8-4 to the Boston Red Sox on Sunday, the Tampa Bay Rays earned their second-ever American League East division title.
The Yankees (95-67) settled for the AL Wild Card, which means they will travel to Target Field on Wednesday to face the Twins (94-68) in the American League Division Series.
Twins vs. Yankees ALDS schedule (all times Central and all games on 1500 ESPN Twin Cities):
Game 1 (Target Field): Wednesday, 7:37 p.m.
Game 2 (Target Field): Thursday, 5:07 p.m.
Game 3 (Yankee Stadium): Saturday, 7:37 p.m.

The Twins have faced the Yankees in the postseason three times since 2003, and they have lost all three of those series -- 3-1 in 2003, 3-1 in 2004, and 3-0 in 2009.
