The changes hinted at by Minnesota Twins manager Ron Gardenhire on Friday appear to be coming to fruition.
The team announced Saturday night that left-hander Scott Diamond and shortstop Brian Dozier will be called up on Monday.
To make room on the 25-man roster, Justin Morneau will be placed on the disabled list retroactive to May 1 with a sore wrist that hasn't gotten better since he last played earlier in the week.
It's likely Liam Hendriks will be sent back to Rochester on Monday as the other roster move.
Dozier entered Saturday hitting .273/.342/.374 with one home run and seven doubles in 112 plate appearances.
Diamond owns a 2.60 ERA with 26 strikeouts and seven walks in 34 2/3 innings for Rochester. His start on Friday was shortened to just three innings so he could be available to start at Target Field early next week.
Hendriks has given up 18 earned runs in 18 innings while striking out nine and walking four.
