In a Vikings season that has made it hard to decipher all the things that have gone wrong, quarterback, perhaps stands above the rest.
The intent here wasn't to update the Vikings' place in the latest ESPN.com NFL power ranking, but this nugget was too good to pass up.
After 140 rush yards in another loss, Adrian Peterson must get annoyed sometimes. Nick Foles had more TD passes in three quarters Sunday than Vikings quarterbacks have passed for all season.
Peyton Manning also passed for seven touchdowns in the first week of the season. So if you're keeping track at home, two quarterbacks have thrown more touchdowns in one game than three Vikings quarterbacks combined have thrown all season (six; three from Christian Ponder and three from Matt Cassel).
There was no change in the bottom six teams in the power rankings: Steelers, Texans, Giants, Vikings, Buccaneers and Jaguars.
It looks like it could be a race to the bottom in the second half of the season to secure top draft position.
