The Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota State University, Mankato have reached agreement on a three-year contract for the Vikings to continue holding training camp on the Minnesota State Mankato campus.
The agreement means the Vikings will be at Minnesota State Mankato for training camp in 2013, 2014 and 2015, with the 2015 training camp marking the Vikings' 50th in Mankato.
With Gage Center having been torn down, the Vikings will have new lodging, residing in the Julia Sears Residence Community building, which opened in 2008.
The team stayed in Sears hall once previously but have primarily resided in the Gage Residence Community complex in past.
The Vikings will report to training camp on Thursday and begin practice Friday.
