The Vikings announced Monday they have released cornerback A.J. Jefferson, who appeared on the Hennepin County Jail roster, held on probable cause for domestic assault.
A source first pointed out the news to 1500ESPN.com contributor Darren Wolfson. The roster has him booked at 6:57 a.m.
The Vikings recently tied the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday. Jefferson left the game in the first half with a neck injury. Jefferson, 25, signed a restricted free agent tender reportedly worth $1.32 million for this season.
