Sports Over Beers, episode 20. Krammer's minicamp observations
Vikings reporter Andrew Krammer joins the podcast to talk Vikings minicamp as we prepare for the NFL hibernation before Mankato training camp. What have we seen from Teddy Bridgewater and Matt Cassel? Is there any chance Bridgewater is the starter to open the season? How about later in the year? Why is Christian Ponder still in the picture and what could they get for him in a trade? -- Who will have an easier time transitioning to the new offense: Greg Jennings or Cordarrelle Patterson? -- What will Anthony Barr have to show before training camp? What have you seen from him so far in minicamp since he returned from UCLA? Any defensive players that have surprised you? Do we have a good idea of defensive roles yet? Do we know the starters (middle linebacker, outside corner in nickel packages, the second safety)?

The Vikings posted a pretty cool video this morning. It takes viewers inside the experience of Adrian Peterson at a recent practice at Winter Park. Peterson wore a small camera on his helmet and a microphone, and he had a little fun with the filming of the video.

"They got me wired up and mic'd up," Peterson said to head coach Mike Zimmer in the produced clip. "Say hello."

"Oh yeah, you look beautiful," Zimmer said, grabbing the helmet to smile for the camera. "Hi all you out there."

Peterson also is seen joking and chatting with teammates, like when he told Matt Kalil he could use a 'belly tuck.' Teammate Fred Evans shows off his movie quotes, and Peterson shows off his speed and cuts.

But easily the coolest part of the video is seeing the blocks develop in front of Peterson on running plays during practice.

Check out the video on the Vikings website.
