The Minnesota Vikings have received two compensatory draft picks, the NFL announced on Friday, giving them nine total selections in next month's NFL Draft.
The compensatory picks -- one each for the free-agent losses of running back Chester Taylor and guard Artis Hicks -- are in the sixth (No. 200 overall) and seventh rounds (No. 235), respectively.
The Vikings previously owned their own picks in Rounds 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7, plus the New York Giants' fifth-rounder. So, they now have two picks in each of the final three rounds.
Compensatory picks cannot be traded.
