The Minnesota Vikings added an offensive tackle to their roster on Friday, signing second-year player Levi Horn from Montana.
Horn, who began his collegiate career at Oregon before transferring to Montana, signed with the Chicago Bears in April 2010 after not being selected in the draft.
He was placed on waivers in early September of that year and then was signed to the Bears' practice squad. Horn went through the same process with the Bears last season but was activated from the practice squad in November 2011 after Gabe Carimi was put on injured reserve.
The Bears waived Horn this month.
The Vikings roster now has 89 players on it.
