Patrick Brown will be back with the Minnesota Vikings, at least for the offseason.

The team recently signed Brown to a one-year, $540,000 contract extension.

As an exclusive rights free agent, Brown couldn't have negotiated with other teams anyway.

He appeared in 15 games last season, mostly on special teams. He also played 45 snaps on offense in two relief appearances, gave up a sack and took a holding penalty.
