The Minnesota Vikings will take a longer look at two of the 30-plus players who tried out for the team during the weekend's rookie minicamp.

According to the team's Web site, receiver Marquis Hamilton of Iowa State and tackle Bill Noethlich of Southwest Minnesota State have signed contracts.

Both will join the offseason program as extreme long shots to make the team.

It wasn't immediately clear whether the Vikings had interest in signing any of the other tryout players, some of whom already had additional tryouts scheduled. The Vikings now have 75 players under contract -- five below the offseason limit.
