DeMarcus Love is eligible to return after serving a four-game suspension to open the season but he won't be coming back to the Minnesota Vikings.

The team waived the offensive tackle on Tuesday. Love was selected by the Vikings in the sixth round of the 2011 draft.

Love's suspension for violating the NFL's performance enhancing drug policy was announced in training camp.

At the time, he said he was unaware a supplement he took early last spring contained a substance that is banned by the NFL. Love appealed the suspension in April but his attempt to avoid suspension proved unsuccessful.
