Mike Tice won't be the next Vikings head coach.

OK, so it's highly unlikely he would have been in the Vikings' conversation. But some fans jokingly suggested getting the band back together.

If that was your hope, perhaps now you'll have to turn your attention to Denny Green. He last coached in 2011 -- in the United Football League, a league he sued for allegedly not paying him the full value of his contract

Green may be the best former Vikings coaching option left, unless you're into spread game analysts run out of town just three years ago. Then give Brad Childress a call.
