Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd is scheduled to meet with the Minnesota Vikings next week, according to NFL.com.
Floyd, according to the website, also has been invited to attend the NFL draft from April 26-28 in New York City. Floyd and Oklahoma State's Justin Blackmon are expected to be the top two receivers taken.
The Vikings hold the third-overall pick in the first round and have many needs, including finding a top-notch wide receiver.
Floyd has plans to visit the Tennessee Titans, St. Louis Rams, New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals this week. He already has met with the Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns and had a private workout with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers are among the other teams Floyd is scheduled to meet with next week.
Floyd, a high school star at Cretin-Derham Hall in St. Paul, Minn., had a career-best 100 receptions for 1,147 yards and nine touchdowns for the Irish last season. He set school marks for receptions (271), receiving yards (3,686) and receiving touchdowns (37).
