The Minnesota Wild announced a pair of re-signings on Wednesday -- a two-year deal for LW Matt Kassian, and a one-year deal for defenseman Nate Prosser.
Prosser, 24, originally signed as a free agent in March after his senior season at Colorado College. He played in the final three games of the regular season for the Wild, tallying one assist.
Kassian, 23, played 59 games with the Houston Aeros and led the team with 149 penalty minutes. He also tallied two goals and four assists. Kassian was drafted by the Wild in the second round of the 2005 NHL entry draft.
Both contracts are two-way, which means the Wild can send Prosser and Kassian to Houston without them having to clear waivers.
