Wild announce preseason slate, will host Columbus, St. Louis, Edmonton

The Minnesota Wild's seven-game preseason schedule will include home games against Columbus, St. Louis and Edmonton.
The schedule, released on Tuesday afternoon, opens with visits to Edmonton on Sept. 20 and St. Louis on Sept. 22.
The rest of the slate is as follows: home against Columbus on Sept. 23, at Pittsburgh on Sept. 24, home against St. Louis on Sept. 27, at Columbus on Sept. 29 and home against Edmonton on Sept. 30.
All home games will be at 7 p.m. The schedule for the regular season, which begins the first week of October, will be unveiled at a later date.
The Wild have six picks in the NHL Draft that begins on Friday at Xcel Energy Center: one each in first (No. 10 overall), third (No. 70), fourth (No. 100), fifth (No. 130), sixth (No. 160) and seventh (No. 190) rounds.
Their second-round pick was dealt to Boston in the Chuck Kobasew trade in October 2009.
