One day after Charlie Coyle's return to the lineup and first line, the Wild has returned Carson McMillan to the Iowa Wild.

The team announced the move Wednesday afternoon, and it signals that it is confident Coyle can stick in the lineup after returning from a sprained knee.

Coyle played Tuesday night with Zach Parise and Mikko Koivu on the top line. Both players, as well as head coach Mike Yeo, said Coyle's return was a good boost, but they expect him to get even better as he shakes off the rust.

McMillan, 25, had been recalled for the second time this season on Nov. 3. He skated a little more than eight minutes in Sunday's shutout win over New Jersey.
