Josh Harding is headed to injured reserve.

The Minnesota Wild announced the move on Wednesday, one week after Harding left a game at San Jose following an inadvertent elbow to the neck from teammate Nick Schultz.

Matt Hackett replaced Harding in that game and has continued to share time with Niklas Backstrom.

He was replaced on the roster by center Warren Peters, who was recalled from Houston.
