The Minnesota Wild on Wednesday reassigned defenseman Drew Bagnall and left wing Matt Kassian to Houston as part of a series of moves to reduce the roster to 24 in advance of Thursday's regular-season opener.
The Wild also placed left wing Pierre-Marc Bouchard (concussion) and goalie Josh Harding (knee) on injured reserve, designated center James Sheppard (knee) as an injured non-roster player and named Dennis Endras the No. 3 goalie for their two games against the Carolina Hurricanes in Helsinki, Finland.
The teams will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at Hartwell Arena. The games will be broadcast on Versus.
