Wild recall Carson McMillan with playoff spot for taking Friday night

The Minnesota Wild continue to shake up their roster.

On Friday, they recalled forward Carson McMillan from the Houston Aeros for the night's game against Edmonton.

McMillan, 24, had 18 points, 31 penalty minutes and a plus-4 rating in 64 games this season in Houston.

He scored a goal with the Wild in his NHL debut on April 3, 2011, and has played 15 games with the club -- though none this season.

The Wild need forwards with Jason Pominville and Mike Rupp both banged up.

They can clinch a playoff spot by beating the Oilers.
