The Wild and Jason Zucker have put pen to paper.

The team announced Tuesday that it was signed the speedy forward to a two-year contact.

The first year of the deal is a two-way contract, while the second is strictly a one-way, according to the release.

Zucker, 22, had surgery in late March to repair a tendon in his left quadriceps, which caused him to miss the end of the regular season and the Wild's playoff run.

The University of Denver product had five points in 21 games for Minnesota, and was seemingly constantly on the move between the NHL and the team's AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild.

He is expected to be fully recovered for the start of the 2014-15 season, according to the release.
