The Minnesota Wild's offseason didn't end with the signings of Zach Parise and Ryan Suter.
They announced on Thursday afternoon they've agreed to a one-year, one-way contract with defenseman Justin Falk, who received a restricted free-agent qualifying offer last week and could have filed for arbitration at 4 p.m.
Falk, 23, played in a career-high 47 games last season and scored his first NHL goal on a power play against Colorado on Jan. 24. He ranked sixth in ice time and eighth among rookies in blocked shots (78).
