The Minnesota Wild has re-signed forward Robbie Earl to a one-year, $550,000 contract, according to the Star Tribune's Michael Russo.

Earl, 25, scored six goals in 32 games for the Wild last season.

Gopher hockey fans may remember Earl from his days at the University of Wisconsin, when he tallied 121 points (68 goals, 63 assists) in 125 career games.
