Wild sign defenseman Clayton Stoner to 2-year contract extension

The Minnesota Wild announced on Thursday they've re-signed defenseman Clayton Stoner to a two-year contract extension.
Stoner, 27, had a goal, four assists, a plus-3 rating and 54 penalty minutes in 51 games for the Wild last season.
A third-round pick (79th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Stoner made his NHL debut on Dec. 17, 2009. He has three goals, 13 assists, a plus-nine rating and 170 penalty minutes in 116 games.
