The Wild have signed German goalie Dennis Endras to a one-year, two-way contract today.
Endras, 24, led all goaltenders in the International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship with a 1.15 goals against average in six games, leading Germany to a fourth-place finish. He was also named MVP.
With his German League team, the Augsberger Panther, Endras posted a 28-24 record with a 3.28 GAA and a .905 save percentage in 52 regular season games.
According to the Star Tribune's Mike Russo, if Endras doesn't earn a spot on the Wild roster, he will likely return to Germany, rather than heading to the minor league affiliate Houston Aeros.
