Wild to face Central Division rival Colorado in home opener next season

The Wild's rivarly with the Colorado Avalanche will be rekindled quickly next season.
The NHL announced the home openers for each team Saturday and the Wild will play host to Colorado at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 9. The Star Tribune reported that the Wild and Avs will play a home-and-home series.
The Wild established a quality rivarly with the Avalanche in beating Colorado in seven games in the opening round of the playoffs this past season. The Wild is 11-0-2 in home openers.
It's expected the entire NHL schedule will be announced on Sunday.
