The NHL released its full schedule for the first round of the playoffs on Sunday.

The Minnesota Wild are slated to open the playoffs with a best-of-seven series against the Colorado Avalanche Thursday at 8:30 p.m. (CT) in Denver. Game 2 will take place in Colorado on Saturday (8:30 pm) before the series shifts to Minnesota on April 21 and April 24 for Game 3 and Game 4.

This is the third time in five all-time postseason appearances that the Wild will face the Avalanche in the opening round.

First round: Colorado Avalanche vs Minnesota Wild

Game 1: @ Colorado -- Thurs., April 17, 8:30 p.m. CT
Game 2: @ Colorado -- Sat., April 19, 8:30 p.m.
Game 3: @ Minnesota -- Mon., April 21, 7 p.m.
Game 4: @ Minnesota -- Thurs., April 24, 8:30 p.m.
