Wild work quickly to roll out jerseys of newly acquired players

Wednesday was a flurry in the NHL, as are most trade deadlines in the sport.

The Wild acquired backup goalie Ilya Bryzgalov">Ilya Bryzgalov from Edmonton on Tuesday, a day in advance of the deadline. Then Minnesota nabbed Matt Moulson and Cody McCormick from Buffalo just ahead of the NHLs trade deadline.

The Wild wasted no time getting the jerseys to the team's pro shop.

That's quick work.

Moulson probably will join the second line and Bryzgalov in all likelihood will be slotted behind rookie netminder Darcy Kuemper.

Here's what the top two lines would look like if my feeble hockey mind ran the show in St. Paul:

Parise-Granlund-Pominville

Moulson-Koivu-Coyle

Pretty good top six.

The Wild return to action Saturday against the Stars in Dallas.
